Faction History

A long time ago a galaxy spanning empire collapsed under its own weight. all that remains of this once mighty empire is their dilapidated warships, megastructure projects, and radiated planets that the rest of the civilizations in the galaxy have had to deal with for their entire lifetime.

when humans began to explore the stars they came across a giant abandoned shipyard. all remaining parts of machinery and ships were rusted for centuries but the files and blueprints to build some of the ships remained. Human factions began to fight over these advanced designs. A royalist faction won the war but at great financial cost. they sold some of the ship designs to various companies to recover their loses and secure favor with these companies.
